Job Summary
Deli Clerk / Part Time position in Washington Court House, OH responsible for cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and monitoring perishables. Provides excellent customer service, assists in maintaining store conditions, operates a cash register with multiple payment methods (cash, EBT, debit, credit, WIC vouchers, gift cards, coupons, checks), and supports store management with training and daily operations. Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stocking products, rotating inventory, ensuring proper pricing, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across the store; requires teamwork, basic math, and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven, efficient retail sales experience; experience in dry grocery, perishable, meat, general grocery, cash management and excellent customer service preferred
- Must be able to read, write and speak in English
- Proficiency in basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and basic computer skills
- Must be dependable and flexible to work scheduled shifts
- Must adhere to safety standards
- Must adhere to a uniform dress code
