Job Summary
Deli Clerk duties include assisting customers in the deli/kitchen area, ensuring sanitation and food safety standards are met, supporting prep cook and kitchen tasks, rotating products with correct dates, unloading and stocking shipments, maintaining clean equipment and prep areas, and providing courteous customer service while following Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards. Must obtain a food handling permit within 14 days and participate in ongoing training; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. This is a part-time, non-exempt role requiring attention to safety procedures and ability to work weekends.
Required Qualifications
- A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment
- Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
