Job Summary
Prepare and produce deli products per production planner, package and label items, and stock backroom cases and buckets. Merchandise deli products according to flight plans and ensure guest experience, safety, and food safety guidelines are followed. Notify the manager if products or supplies need ordering and communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and measures to associates. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma and one year of retail experience are preferred. Located at 50 Douglas Ave in Holland, Michigan, this position supports the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, which operates over 200 corporate-run grocery stores nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (GED) preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
