Job Summary
Deli Clerk responsibilities include slicing, packaging, and weighing deli products (meats and cheeses), assisting Members with selections and special orders (including party trays), and providing high-level customer service. Maintain deli presentation, display cases, freshness and product quality, and ensure compliance with food safety policies. Receive and inspect deli shipments, stock and rotate items, operate and sanitize deli equipment (including slicers and scales), weigh and price items, and support club standards and teamwork. Regular attendance and adherence to Gold Club standards are essential as the team works to deliver fresh, friendly service to Members.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred
- Knowledge of deli products preferred
