Job Summary
Slices, packages, weighs deli products including cheeses and meats; assists Members in the deli department; answers calls and takes special orders; samples products to aid purchasing decisions; prepares and packs special orders and party trays; inspects deli shipments and ensures products are fresh and meet quality standards; maintains deli display cases and signage; operates and sanitizes deli equipment in accordance with safety policies; follows food safety procedures and club policies; delivers customer service with a friendly, positive attitude; works as part of a team to uphold GOLD standards and assist Members throughout their visit; regular attendance is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred
- Knowledge of deli products preferred
