Deli Clerk

Deli Clerk responsibilities include preparing hot and cold deli foods per Company standards, promoting customer service by taking and fulfilling orders, and maintaining appealing product presentation. Essential duties involve assisting deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing deli items under supervision; cleaning and prepping equipment; adhering to quality control and food safety standards; stocking and rotating deli products; assisting customers in-store and over the phone with orders; and promoting product sales through suggestive selling. The role requires ability to learn new systems, read and operate digital equipment, operate slicers and other department tools, work in a team, communicate effectively, and work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Education shows a Food Handler certification; minimum age requirements include 16 for general duties and 18 to operate equipment, with 21+ to drive in company policy.
