Plan, direct and supervise deli/bakery team members; drive customer service and store sales; manage staffing, training, coaching, and development; oversee P&L and shrink reduction; ensure adherence to Meijer standards and safety; focus on staffing, performance coaching, and building a positive store image while delivering excellent customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 2-3 years of related retail experience
- One year of management experience
- Rotational assignments in other areas of the store (meat, bakery, produce, deli) or related customer service/product flow experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to team members
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members in various roles and provide training/certification as required
