Job Summary
Execute deli and bakery operations policies, merchandise and stock products, and ensure accurate loss records through waste scanning. Prepare sandwiches, salads, hot meals, and special orders to specification while assisting guests with recommendations and special requests. Oversee all aspects of the department as person in charge during manager absence, provide input on associate performance, and communicate with other functional areas. Adhere to all company policies, maintain professional knowledge through training, and build relationships with guests, vendors, and associates. Requires high school diploma, one year of high volume food service experience, and food safety certification. Full-time role with flexible schedules, starting wage up to $20.40/hr, and benefits including 401K match, tuition reimbursement, and daily pay.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 year experience working in a high volume food service, restaurant, or retail environment
- Proficient organization and planning skills, especially to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and email
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
