Job Summary
Execute deli and bakery operations policies, merchandise and price products, and ensure accurate loss records through waste scanning. Prepare sandwiches, salads, and special orders to specifications while assisting guests with recommendations and special requests. Oversee all aspects of the department as person in charge during manager absence, provide input on associate performance, and communicate with other functional areas. Maintain professional knowledge by completing educational opportunities and networking with vendors and associates. Requires high school diploma, one year of high-volume food service experience, and food safety certification. Starting wage up to $20.40/hr with flexible schedules, 401K match, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 year experience working in a high volume food service, restaurant, or retail environment
- Proficient organization and planning skills, especially to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and email
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Desired Qualifications
- Food safety certification preferred
