Job Summary
Prepare and produce bakery/deli products per production and package plans, then merchandise items according to flight plans and stock the backroom with rotating and dated cases. Notify the bakery/deli manager if products or supplies need ordering, and communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and measures to other associates. Follow all PPE, safety, food safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines while performing duties that may include lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and standing for extended periods in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The associate may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- Employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
