Job Summary
Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service while slicing deli meats and cheeses, preparing custom party trays, and making sandwiches. Stock and organize displays, assist with shipments, and ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and food handling. Perform other duties as needed, including cake decorating, baking, and rotisserie chicken preparation. Work in a fast-paced environment handling stressful situations, standing and walking short distances for entire shifts, and tolerating brief freezer exposure. Cross-train in bakery and deli tasks and follow written guidelines. Some weekend shifts are required. Join a team with a history of promoting from within across 32 states.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
- Effective and friendly communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- Team player
- Some weekend shifts are required
