Job Summary
Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service while slicing deli meats and cheeses, preparing custom party trays, and making sandwiches. Stock and organize displays, assist with shipments, and ensure proper sanitation of the department and equipment. Perform additional tasks as needed, including cake decorating, baking, and rotisserie chicken preparation. Work shifts from 2pm to 7pm in a fast-paced environment, with some weekend shifts required. This role offers great pay, paid time off, holiday pay, and 401k at one of 103 US Military Commissary locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
- Effective and friendly communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- Team player
- Some weekend shifts are required
