Job Summary
Operate commercial ovens and prepare, process, package, and label bakery products while inspecting items for quality, freshness, and expiration dates. Maintain department sanitation, ensure proper food handling, and rotate products on display. Provide enthusiastic customer service in a fast-paced environment, assist teammates, and cross-train in deli tasks as needed. This role requires baking experience, knowledge of frozen dough, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Experience in retail baking
- Knowledge of frozen dough
- Willing to cross-train in deli tasks as needed
- Effective and friendly communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- Team player
