Job Summary
Direct the department by managing 5-10 employees, overseeing food safety and sanitation policies, and maintaining accurate inventory and profit records. Enforce commissary requirements while monitoring customer satisfaction to identify and address service gaps. Assist with scheduling, training staff, and delegating work assignments in a hands-on role that may require lifting up to 50 pounds. Maintain a safe, clean environment and communicate professionally with management to meet financial objectives. Requires 2+ years of grocery or food service experience, mandatory shift lead experience, and a valid Food Safety Management Certification. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years grocery or 2+ years food service experience
- Previous shift lead/management experience mandatory
- Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Open availability, must be able to work some weekends and closing shifts
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid Food Safety Management Certification or be able to obtain one within 30 days from the hire date
