Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while maintaining, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Deli Department. Assist the Deli Manager with all deli operations, including rotating and pulling merchandise as needed. Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and dress codes, and complete required training for the Bakery Deli Department. Maintain dexterity for handling sharp instruments and lifting up to 60 lb. boxes. Work in a friendly, flexible environment supporting local communities with quality food and service at the best prices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
