Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele and share your knowledge of bakery deli goods while maintaining, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Deli Department. Assist with all deli operations, including rotating and pulling merchandise as needed. Follow all safety guidelines, report any missing or non-functional safety equipment, and comply with company policies including dress code and name tag requirements. Complete all company training as required for the Bakery Deli Department and stay up to date with the latest training and knowledge available for the Deli Bakery while maintaining good communication with other departments. This medium work requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, use knives and other sharp instruments, and work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
- Must comply with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag
- Must complete all company training as required for the Bakery Deli Department
