Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while maintaining, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Deli Department. Assist the Deli Manager with all deli operations, including rotating and pulling merchandise as needed. Adhere to safety guidelines, report missing equipment, and comply with company policies such as dress code and name tag requirements. Complete all required training for the Bakery Deli Department and stay updated on the latest knowledge while communicating effectively with other departments. This role requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, use knives, and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
