Job Summary
The Deli Associate supports store operations by preparing and serving hot, fresh food and beverages, handling cash at the register, delivering friendly customer service, maintaining a clean and safe deli area, stocking supplies, and assisting the Food Service Manager with deli tasks and programs. Responsibilities include taking orders, cooking and portioning food as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations, managing stock levels, executing store-level marketing and loyalty promotions, and fostering a cohesive, team-oriented environment while upholding the Friendly Express brand values.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to operate and maintain food service equipment
- Basic language and mathematical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable to report to work on time
