Job Summary
Own the day-to-day operations of the deli, ensuring consistent execution of fas craves food programs and leading all food preparation, merchandising, and promotional activities. Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing team while managing schedules to guarantee peak-time coverage. Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including temperature logs and code dating, to ensure product quality and freshness. Control food cost, waste, and labor efficiency through inventory management and shrink control, driving sales growth via upselling and effective merchandising. Partner with the Store Manager to align deli operations with overall store goals and resolve operational issues on-site. Deliver a fast, friendly food experience by addressing customer feedback and resolving concerns quickly. Work overnight shifts (10 PM to 6 AM) with weekends and holidays, requiring full-time availability and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older if located in CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO
- Must be 21 years of age or older for all other states
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be prepared to work hard and stay on your feet for most of your shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be subject to a criminal history background check
- Friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome
