Job Summary
Coordinate administrative support for the Oconee County Legislative Delegation by scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining records for boards and commissions. Manage the department's filing system, draft press releases, and research legislation as needed. Handle public inquiries, process Notary Public applications, and prepare meeting agendas and minutes. Assist with budget preparation, monitor expenditures, and procure office supplies. Answer telephone calls, process mail, and perform routine clerical tasks including data entry and document preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree with emphasis in Business, Public Administration, Political Science, Public Relations, or another related field
- Two (2) years of related work experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
