Job Summary
Manage relationships with Managing General Agents (MGAs) as the primary point of contact for program-related matters, overseeing onboarding, performance monitoring against KPIs, and contract negotiations with legal and business development teams. Assess risks associated with delegated underwriting programs, ensure MGA compliance with regulatory requirements and the SiriusPoint MGA Playbook, and conduct visits and reviews of coverholders. Collaborate with internal underwriting, claims, and finance teams to support MGA underwriting guidelines and product knowledge, while preparing regular reports for senior management on program performance and recommendations. Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline program management and enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in program management, underwriting, or managing MGAs within the insurance industry
- Thorough understanding of multi-class insurance products, underwriting principles, and the role of MGAs in the insurance distribution model
- Knowledge of relevant insurance regulations and industry best practices for program management and delegated underwriting authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess program performance data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with MGAs, TPA's and internal stakeholders
- Proven track record of successful relationship management and customer-centric approach to business partnerships
- Project management expertise to effectively plan, execute, and monitor program initiatives
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
- Team player with leadership qualities, capable of motivating and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
