Job Summary
Assess property damage on steep/high roofs for insurance claims; perform exterior and interior inspections; conduct underwriting property inspections as part of Hancock Claims Consultants’ independent contractor network. Utilize technology (including lidar) to evaluate damage, ensure safety, and support claims resolution from start to finish. Requires owning a capable vehicle, access to a lidar device, proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Teams), and the ability to obtain any necessary certifications to join the contractor pool. Emphasizes professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service, empathy for insureds, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a reliable Truck, Van or SUV with the ability to transport and carry at least a 32’ ladder
- Must have a Lidar equip device or the ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
- HAAG Certification is a plus
- The ability to get any required certifications or credentials to become a part of our contractor pool
