Job Summary
Check aircraft for leading edge ice and frost, then apply Deice Fluid Type 1 or Type 4 to wings, fuselage, and tail. Drive large heavy vehicles around aircraft during operations while operating a headset and radio to coordinate with ground, flight, and dispatch crews. Perform accurate accounting of de-icing fluid transactions and conduct daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles. Comply with all safety procedures, protocols, and substance misuse policies while maintaining attendance standards. Must be 18+, hold a valid US driver's license, and possess the ability to lift 70lbs repetitively and work in all weather conditions. Flexible for variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess valid US driver's license
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
- Must be comfortable with heights of 15-20 feet
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prior loading and unloading of heavy products or equipment (preferred)
- Prior ramp experience a plus
