Job Summary
Defense Logistics Operations Specialist responsible for processing orders, coordinating international shipments, preparing rates/quotes, billing, and regulatory compliance; acts as liaison with carriers, customs brokers, and government/defense clients; handles documentation (HAWB, MAWB, AES, manifests, bills of lading, certificates of origin) and supports ITAR/TSA requirements; requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in defense logistics; travel occasionally to support operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of defense logistics and/or freight forwarding operations
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with government or defense logistics clients
- ITAR compliance and shipping experience required
- Ability to acquire TSA certification (required)
