Job Summary
Default Timeline Specialist oversees delinquent loans eligibility for breach notices, referrals and oversight with counsel for bankruptcy, foreclosure, or eviction actions to ensure investor/insurer timelines and guidelines are met; monitors daily/weekly/monthly reports and maintains accurate records in servicing systems; collaborates with Loss Mitigation to ensure timely actions; reviews delinquent loans, issues mandated letters, refers eligible cases to attorneys for Bankruptcy/Foreclosure/Eviction, tracks legal filings, coordinates property inspections/preservation, and provides financial figures to attorneys for claims, reinstatements, payoffs, judgments, and foreclosure bids; processes incoming funds (refunds, bankruptcy payments, sale proceeds) and ensures timely payment of invoices, taxes, and insurance within approved limits, particularly before foreclosure sales.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a business related field and/or 3 – 4 years of related experience
