Job Summary
Assist teachers in designated instructional, non-instructional, management and clerical tasks. Supports students with special needs through tutoring, classroom activities, and behavior management; conducts community-based instruction under supervision; helps administer assessments and health-related procedures; prepares materials, manages displays and teaching centers, records student progress, and assists with transportation and safety. Collaborates with teachers and maintains confidentiality while fostering students' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D and Associates Degree, OR Minimum of 48 college credit hours, OR Pass a state approved test
- Must be capable for working with students who may have physical, intellectual, emotional and/or behavioral exceptionalities.
