Job Summary
Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems while maintaining parameters within operating requirements. Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters, ensure sampling is carried out and results are acted upon, and troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume. Maintain discharge water quality within current SBMPC or local guidelines and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety devices, and Fire and Gas Systems. Submit accurate production reporting daily, witness third-party calibrations, and prove export oil meters. Carry out operations in a safe and environmentally sound manner, test and inspect equipment, and perform mandatory paperwork. Coordinate logistics, handle chemical treating, and facilitate maintenance by applying isolations while adhering to PTW systems and risk assessments. Advise maintenance personnel on hazards and control vendor activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience working offshore as a production operator
- Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG1 or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Scada experience preferred
- Good experience with Permit to Work
