Deduction Customer Account Representative

Job Summary
Deduction-focused AR role responsible for validating and categorizing customer payment deductions, recording validated deductions with proper codes, coordinating with OE/COL/Sales/Plant Ops/Logistics to resolve discrepancies, and ensuring SOX-compliant timely resolution. Emphasis on analyzing deductions via BOLs, invoices, and notes; managing aging, documenting disposition (Authorized vs Unauthorized), and communicating outcomes; leveraging APPX/ERP tools for reporting and documentation; continual process improvement and collaboration across multiple teams.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, deduction management, or related financial operations preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in APPX or similar ERP systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with SOX compliance standards is a plus
