Job Summary
Perform all duties safely and responsibly, including routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements. Follow federal, state, and customer rules while legally operating a motor vehicle and entering/exiting the rear cargo area. Physically lift and move up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally. Report all equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage immediately. Work local/home daily schedules with start times between 2-8 AM covering NJ, PA, CT, NY, MA, and MD in dry vans. Drive tractors under 2.5 years old equipped with collision mitigation and navigation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum six (6) months of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
