Job Summary
Deliver and perform light assembly of boxed furniture, televisions, outdoor furniture, and fitness equipment to consumer homes. Operate a 24-26' box truck equipped with a lift gate as part of a two-man team, utilizing hand and power tools to build products to manufacturer specifications. Maintain compliance with DOT/MC numbers, vehicle registrations, state laws, and background/drug screen requirements while providing exceptional customer service. Earn weekly settlements ranging from 40K to 100K+ based on volume and contract work accepted. AIT Home Delivery serves high-end companies by offering fast, reliable final delivery, assembly, and repair services directly to consumers.
Required Qualifications
- Owner Operators with 24-26' box trucks (with lift gate)
- Own or lease a 24-26ft box with lift gate
- Must have a reliable helper. Two-man teams required.
- Own hand and power tools
- Experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
- Must have an EIN (federal tax ID)
- Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
- DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
- Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
- MVR are performed for all driving contractors
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service
