Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans targeting specific goals. Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to improve patients' mobility and functionality while educating them on body mechanics. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on individual responses. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to coordinate care, prepare treatment areas, and maintain equipment. Provide emotional support to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy methodologies, techniques, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Additional experience in specialized areas such as neurological or pediatric rehabilitation
- Previous work in a rehabilitation facility
