Job Summary
Develop individualized care plans for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical recovery. Maintain a manageable caseload while utilizing advanced orthopedic techniques and evidence-based interventions to enhance mobility. Design and adapt fitness programs tailored to unique requirements, ensuring active patient participation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and continuously assess progress to adjust treatment strategies. Provide documentation using electronic medical record systems like WebPT. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design successful exercise programs.
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation.
- Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices and methodologies backed by research to ensure best outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in outpatient physical therapy settings with a focus on sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with community outreach or patient education programs aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyles.
