Job Summary

Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness by monitoring and documenting patient progress while collaborating with physicians and occupational therapists for coordinated care. Engage with diverse patient populations including athletes, post-surgery individuals, and those managing chronic pain to promote resilience and self-efficacy throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Possession of an active Virginia Physical Therapist license (VA) with a clean record and no history of sanctions
- Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development
- Proficient in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for maintaining thorough and accurate patient documentation
- Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices and methodologies backed by clinical research
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation
- Experience developing and executing treatment plans with demonstrable patient success stories
