Job Summary
Assess patients' needs and objectives to devise personalized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour. Utilize evidence-based interventions to foster healing pathways, create comprehensive care plans integrating various techniques, and design personalized fitness and wellness programs to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey while collaborating with interprofessional teams, including physicians, to ensure holistic care. Evaluate treatment outcomes meticulously, adjusting plans as necessary, and document all services accurately to maintain compliance. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within our 5,000-square-foot sports medicine facility in New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York
- A clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques
- Exceptional skills in developing and implementing exercise protocols tailored for diverse patient needs
- Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software

- Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Ideally with a background in rehabilitative care for athletes or active individuals
- Demonstrated success in motivating patients to adhere to treatment plans and engage actively in their recovery
