Job Summary
Assess patient conditions through comprehensive evaluations and establish tailored treatment goals. Develop and implement personalized care plans featuring manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities while adjusting methodologies based on ongoing assessments. Utilize Web PT EMR software to maintain precise documentation, progress notes, and treatment outcomes. Monitor patient progress regularly, modifying care plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and treatment responses. Educate patients about physical therapy techniques to promote self-management and long-term health strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when additional interventions are required. Schedule runs 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, in good standing without sanctions or board proceedings
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise program development
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for maintaining thorough and accurate patient records
- In-depth knowledge of current physical therapy practices and community health standards
Desired Qualifications
- preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Demonstrated success in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings
- Previous experience utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting with other healthcare practitioners
