Job Summary
Conduct dedicated freight acceptance and assignment while supervising drivers and managing multiple TMS systems daily. Act as the direct liaison between customers and management to share information effectively, working with pricing and sales teams to pursue new rates, lanes, or customers. Grow business and control costs by developing KPIs and meeting daily, weekly, and quarterly standards. Maintain high-level market knowledge of rates and dispatch areas for all accounts. Requires on-site location in Saginaw, TX, with occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to a four-year college degree
- 2 years related experience
- 2 years related management experience
- Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- May require overnight travel at times
