Job Summary
Execute weekly service visits across 24–35 retail locations, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues for displays, fixtures, and connectivity while adhering to 48–72-hour SLAs for ad-hoc requests. Perform end-to-end installations, display builds, and refreshes including cabling, media players, and security components, ensuring full compliance with planograms and brand standards. Manage trunk stock inventory, replenish stock, place POP, and execute pricing tags as a trusted field expert. Document all service activity and insights accurately, maintain strong relationships with store personnel, and drive on behalf of the company within a 120-mile radius.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with display installations, merchandising, and planogram execution
- Experience using basic tools required to maintain displays
- Experience diagnosing and resolving physical display issues, including lighting components, fixtures, and non-functioning buttons
- Experience identifying and resolving electronic and connectivity issues, including cabling, power, and component integration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with store personnel and internal teams
- Ability to independently manage an assigned account base, prioritize workload, meet SLAs, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on root-cause identification and long-term resolution
- Advanced troubleshooting, installation, and repair capabilities across hardware, displays, and connected systems
- Must commit to completing the market area's minimum weekly or special project hours request
- Able to read POG schematics and wiring diagrams and correctly connect components
- Must be proficient using your personal Smartphone/Tablet with GPS functionality to upload photos, report assignment data, reference documents while in-store, and schedule visits
- Ability to drive on behalf of the company in compliance with company guidelines, with access to reliable transportation
- Must have a basic toolkit
- A basic toolkit includes a multi-screwdriver, torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, easy off, putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and goo gone
- Travel up to 120 miles with paid drive time and mileage per company policy
- Willingness and ability to travel for 2–3 days to participate in in-person training
- Available to work 40 hours per week minimum Monday through Friday (starting at 8 am), with occasional weekend work, if requested, with advanced notice
- Always lift and carry supplies into the store up to 10 pounds
- Regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
- Occasional travel via flight or other modes of transportation
