Job Summary
Manage the dedicated account's profitability through daily operations including driver management, load planning, and customer service. Supervise office personnel and drivers, overseeing revenue generation, billing, safety compliance, equipment maintenance, and payroll. Optimize asset utility by assigning drivers to loads based on freight details and availability while implementing idle reduction and mpg improvement strategies. Conduct driver training, review weekly invoicing for accuracy, and coordinate asset maintenance and HR functions such as hiring and discipline. Interface with internal departments and external vendors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations while promoting a safety culture. Monitor performance metrics, participate in customer meetings, and complete required account reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation/Logistics
- Two to three years customer service experience
- Two to three years transportation experience
- One to two years AS400 and P.C. experience
