Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, gather pertinent patient history, and perform targeted assessments to inform treatment decisions. Communicate findings and collaboratively develop personalized rehabilitation programs with patients and families to establish meaningful recovery goals. Implement tailored treatment protocols for diverse outpatient populations recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility challenges. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to update care plans and complete thorough discharge planning with detailed documentation. Mentor aspiring physical therapists and engage in team initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid DPT license to practice in the State of New Jersey
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience in an outpatient facility
- Experience managing a range of orthopedic and neurological conditions
