Job Summary
Evaluate patients' conditions using comprehensive assessments to establish appropriate treatment plans. Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions while utilizing manual therapy and targeted exercise interventions to enhance mobility and range of motion. Develop individualized fitness programs, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate care. Lead patient education sessions on lifestyle modifications and prevention strategies to minimize future injuries. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a state-of-the-art orthopedic outpatient facility serving athletes and post-surgical patients.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist without any board or disciplinary actions against it
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and implementation of effective exercise programs
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient tracking
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and coordinate care with healthcare professionals
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated ability to administer effective, patient-centered therapies that reduce reliance on medication and propose non-surgical alternatives
- Experience in designing tailored wellness programs that incorporate health education and lifestyle management strategies
