Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to establish goals and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or seeking mobility improvements. Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour onsite in their homes, utilizing orthopedic techniques and therapeutic modalities to reduce medication reliance. Create personalized fitness programs to enhance strength and balance, while recording detailed care documentation and regularly evaluating treatment responses to optimize recovery. Collaborate with fellow therapists and assistants to ensure coordinated care, providing patient education to promote active participation in rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Active State Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions against it
- Proficiency in manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care
