Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments for each patient to formulate individualized care plans addressing unique rehabilitation goals. Monitor and manage a manageable caseload while implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to improve mobility and function. Design and oversee personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with specific recovery paths, promoting non-surgical treatment alternatives to minimize medication reliance. Thoroughly document all treatment interventions and progress in Electronic Medical Records using systems like Web PT. Collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals to enhance care continuity and optimize patient outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest physical therapy techniques and research. This full-time role includes a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm onsite at our outpatient clinic in Alexandria, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Possession of an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A clean background free of sanctions or board actions
- Demonstrable experience in orthopedic care
- Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques
- Strong ability to create and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs
- Experience using EMR systems for accurate and efficient documentation
- A commitment to ongoing education and staying informed about contemporary practices and methodologies in physical therapy
- This full-time position
- Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Prior experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedics
