Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Administer evidence-based therapies including manual techniques, strength training, and stretching while monitoring progress to adjust plans for optimal recovery. Document all sessions accurately in the electronic health record and educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and assistive device usage. Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and seminars to enhance clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Basic computer and word processing skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A flexible and adaptable personality capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Saint Petersburg, Florida
