Job Summary
Evaluate patients referred by physicians and conduct thorough assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine conditions using manual therapy, exercise, and modalities. Document progress, modify plans with the healthcare team, and provide education to patients and caregivers. Maintain communication with physicians to optimize care while meeting utilization goals and complying with regulations. This onsite role in Ashburn, VA serves a diverse population including post-operative and neurological patients.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A current state license for Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer and word processing skills
- The ability to establish meaningful relationships with patients and inspire confidence in their recovery journey
- A deep commitment to patient care and the desire to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- A minimum of two years of experience working as a licensed Physical Therapist
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Experience treating diverse populations in various settings
- A CPR certificate that is current and in good standing
