Job Summary
Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for pediatric patients to assess needs and capabilities. Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, patient goals, and family involvement. Regularly review progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation including SOAP notes and progress summaries using the electronic record-keeping system. Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the recovery process. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various disciplines to optimize patient outcomes. Work onsite at the specialized facility in Arlington, Virginia, or through home care services.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy for practice in Virginia.
- Willingness to conduct both in-person and telehealth therapy appointments, adapting your approach as clinically appropriate.
- A genuine passion for working with a diverse range of pediatric patients and their families.
