Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing detailed assessments to develop personalized treatment plans. Implement treatment protocols based on these evaluations while remaining adaptable to changes in patient conditions. Effectively communicate findings and strategies to patients and families to engage them in goal-setting. Maintain organized documentation of care activities, including progress notes and discharge summaries, to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for consultations when indicated. Participate in community outreach and marketing activities to promote clinic services. Pursue ongoing professional development and mentor physical therapy students as needed. Work onsite Monday through Friday in a supportive outpatient environment serving diverse patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid DPT license in the state of Virginia; licensure must be maintained throughout employment.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
