Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities and limitations related to musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, employing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities. Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies to encourage independence. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and chiropractors, to coordinate patient care effectively. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, adhering to state guidelines and clinic standards. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Demonstrable manual therapy skills
- Strong clinical reasoning abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to demonstrate adaptability in a home care setting
- Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
- Experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
- Familiarity with advanced manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies
- Prior experience working with home care settings
