Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their goals and needs, managing a caseload of one individual per hour. Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques to improve mobility and functionality while implementing cost-effective interventions. Educate patients on their conditions through tailored wellness programs and document all interactions and progress accurately in the EMR system. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and monitor patient progress to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no past board or disciplinary actions
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Proficiency in developing effective therapeutic exercise routines
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
