Job Summary
Live unload, strap, and tarp approximately 10% of loads while operating flatbed and Conestoga equipment across Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Perform pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements, reporting all equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage immediately. Maintain physical capability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally while adhering to all federal, state, and customer safety regulations. Obtain Hazmat endorsement with assistance and report to local or on-site management for dispatch and support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Must have at least 1 year of Class A tractor-trailer experience
- Must be able to obtain Hazmat Endorsement
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable of performing all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
- Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Recent flatbed experience preferred
- Must be able to obtain Hazmat Endorsement (NFI will assist)
