Job Summary
Facilitate development of newly hired inventory associates and manage ongoing training for hourly staff to meet productivity targets. Conduct in-office training including on-site and mock inventory sessions, while coaching lower performers and identifying top talent. Coordinate new hire orientation, review training metrics to assess productivity increases, and articulate company goals and procedures to associates. Maintain strong counting skills as a key member of the District Inventory Team while adapting to frequent travel and 10-12 hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience counting inventory as an associate, preferably at the Expert or Top Gun Level
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Must possess a passion for people with the ability to show empathy and compassion for our team and customers
- Proven experience driving strong results through coaching, development and training efforts and the ability to impart counting knowledge onto others
- High level of confidence with the ability to hold others accountable through positive employee first engagement
- Must have the ability to adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, as well as frequent walking
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts regularly
